We regularly sail three classes of Radio Yacht:

International One Metre (IOM) http://www.mya-uk.org.uk/yachts/iom.html

Radio Marblehead (RM) http://www.mya-uk.org.uk/yachts/marblehead.html

RC Laser http://www.mya-uk.org.uk/yachts/rclaser.html

 

The IOM & RM are sailed competitively on Sunday mornings with a racing calendar from March to October, dates are published on the website http://www.lmyc.no-ip.co.uk/ as well as results.

Races start at 10:00 with a skippers briefing at 09:45.

 

Each class has fleet races contributing to an annual trophy as well as 2 match & 2 endurance races.

 

The off season is usually well attended too, and we do tend to race, albeit slightly less seriously.

 

IOM & RM practice is usually happening on a Wednesday afternoon.

 

The Laser skippers get together on a saturday afternoon and are generally less competitive.
