 Don’t want to commit to a long course until you are sure that it’s for you?

Hykeham Sailing Club has the ideal solution.

 

Sailing Taster Day

The 2008 dates are:

  17th May, 14th June, 5th July and 6th Sept

 

Join us for one day and
take the opportunity to try this fantastic pastime. Hykeham Sailing
Club is on a beautiful stretch of water in the south of the city,
easily accessible from the by pass.

Experienced sailors
will be on hand to show you the basics of helming and crewing. You will
have the opportunity to sail around an idyllic lake under the watchful
guidance of some of the county’s best sailors.

 

When is a rope not a rope?

When it is a sheet or a
halyard. Learn some of those odd words that sailors use. During the day
there will be some short, fun lectures about different aspects of this
fascinating hobby.

 

Lunch is served.

 

A buffet lunch will be included in the price, and tea and coffee will be available all day.
